Rhea Kapoor Organised Lavish Diwali Feast For Husband Karan Boolani And Family

By now, we all know that Rhea Kapoor is an ardent foodie, who loves to explore cuisines from across the world. If you scroll through her Instagram, you will find Rhea regularly updating 1.7 million followers with posts and stories featuring her daily meals, cooking endeavours and more. But what we enjoy the most are those lavish parties thrown by Rhea Kapoor. If you keep an eye on her Instagram feed, you will find the filmmaker sharing glimpses of those amazing dinner parties she organises for special occasions – be it the shower for her sister Sonam Kapoor Ahuja or the birthday bash of husband Karan Boolani.

Following her tradition, Rhea Kapoor recently organised a lavish party at home on the occasion of Diwali. And, of course, it had a delicious spread of foods too. Rhea’s sister in-law Karishma Boolani (aka Cookie Boolani) took to her Instagram to share a glimpse of the feast; and as always, the spread left us slurping! Wondering what the menu looked like? Let us tell you, it was a classic desi spread, featuring delicious Punjabi and Sindhi delicacies. From what it looked like, there were dahi vada, rice, aloo tuk, sindhi curry, saag and more. Here’s a glimpse of the meal for you:

While we can’t deny that the dishes looked delicious, what made the meal extra-special was the table setup. Known for her amazing aesthetics, Rhea arranged the dining table with traditional copper thali, karoti, glass, cutleries, embroidered napkins, candles, white flowers and leaves, all set on a milky white linen.
